A
Gussested Lay Flat Bag is a plastic bag
with a triangle shaped pleat on both sides of
the bag. These gussets allow the bag to expand
out, giving more room for bulky, big or square
items. The gusset is considered to be the depth
of the bag. For example a 6" x 3" x 7" bag would
be 6 inches wide by 3 inches deep by 7 inches
long.

Side Seal Bags
are bags that have the seals on the side instead
of the bottom. They are measured width x length
(both in inches).

Envelope Bags
are side seal bags that the width is larger than
the length. They are measured width x length
(both in inches) These are used mostly for large
items like furniture or caskets.

Wicketed/Staple
Pack Bags
are bags that are held together by either a
Wicket Wicketed or a cardboard header Staple
Pack. This type of bag is measured the same as a
layflat bag but there is also a lip measurement.
Staple pack bags have a perforated lip. These
are used in high volume, semi-automated
packaging applications, small parts packaging
and food service.

Re-closable Bags
(Zipper Bags) Bags are closed at the top by
squeezing the interlocking zipper together. Many
brand names such as Zip-Lock, Re-sealable, or
mini-grip describe this type of bag.
Applications include small parts, medical, or
food service.

Tubing
is measured width (in inches) by length (in
feet). Tubing can also be perforated at specific
intervals, without seals. This perforated tubing
is referred to as sleeves.

Gusseted tubing
is tubing with pleats on each side allowing the
tubing to expand beyond its lay-flat width. The
gusset is considered to be the depth of the
tube. For example a 8" x 4" x 500' tube would be
8 inches wide by 4 inches deep by 500 feet long.

Single Wound
Sheeting
(SWS) is sheeting wound up as a single layer.
These must be ordered in even numbers (12 rolls,
22 Rolls, 100 Rolls...) Sheeting is measured
width (in inches) x length (in feet) .This can
also be ordered as POR sheets (measured width in
inches by length in inches)

Double Wound Sheeting
(DWS) is sheeting wound up 2 layers thick on a
roll. Sheeting is measured width x length. The
width is in
Inches and the length is in feet.

C-Fold Sheeting
is sheeting that is folded in half and wound up
on a roll. It is measured width (in inches) x
length (in feet). For example 12" x 100' C-Fold
Sheeting will open up to a sheet that is 24" x
100' Sheeting This can also be ordered as POR
C-Fold Sheets (measured width in inches by
length in inches).

Center Slit Sheeting
is gusseted tubing with a slit down the center
of one layer of film. It is measured the same as
the gusseted tubing. The slit down the middle
allows the sheeting to open up to a flat sheet.
For example a 25" x 15" x 100' Center Slit
sheeting will open up to be a sheet that is 80"
wide by 100' long.
